Why do I take photos?

I started taking photos in my teens inspired by my dad a talented photographer. I then went on to study photography where I learnt about the technical aspects of photography and had the opportunity to learn how to use a wide range of cameras. 

Photography for me is a way to explore the world differently. Framing and executing a shot completely changes the way I see the subject and forces me to take a closer look a lot of the time.

I enjoy all types of photography especially abstract fine art subjects such as textures or explorations of lights etc.
